QUICK REVIEW: The Caudabē Sheath iPhone 7 Plus Case Is Close To Perfection

Holy jeez you guys, Caudabē might have done it. They might have made the perfect phone case.

Now, hear me out — I meant the perfect phone case for me. I’m not into wild designs or colorful art on my phone cases, but you might be, and that’s OK. This case is the definition of minimalist while offering great protection on top of it.

Design

I’m always on the hunt for thin phone cases that offer a good amount of protection. I really do like the Apple leather case, but it doesn’t cover the bottom edge. If I can’t get something classy like leather, I at least want the plastic/rubbery case I choose to at least not be covered in logos and not thicker than something that’s really, really thick.

Caudabē’s Sheath is that perfect alternative. It’s made out of a flexible, rubbery plastic-type material and it adds very little bulk to the phone. As far as aesthetic design goes (I went with gray, as you can see), there’s some flair with lines near the camera hump (which the case protects) and a tiny Caudabē logo at the bottom.

The cutouts for the phone are precise and perfect (the charging port cut out doesn’t interfere with any cables I’ve tried), and the button covers on the sides provide a satisfying click when used. There’s even just enough lip on the front to make sure your face-down phone doesn’t get all scratched up.

You can use it with a screen protector, and it just feels nice in hand. The texture of the case, like I said, is a rubbery-plastic, so it offers a great grip on top of everything else.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for a no-thrills, simple, thin-yet-protective case to protect your phone from everyday scenarios (kids or not), you honestly can’t go wrong with Caudabē’s Sheath. It’s got the right look and feel without sacrificing durability and protection.

Plus you can get one for $22.95 as of writing this, so it’s priced competitively with other cases. It’s also available in other colors — black, navy (pictured once above), and red in addition to the gray I chose.

Oh, and this isn’t the only Caudabē case I’ve reviewed. Stay tuned for more from their line up!

  1. Spot on with this write-up, I genuinely feel this website wants far more consideration. I’ll possibly be once more to read much more, thanks for that information.
